looking for a roommate
room for rent in a three bedroom apartment. so our current roommate got married and moved out so we are looking for a replacement. pretty big shoes to fill, not gonna lie... she was great. first about the place: available 9/1 or earlier. itâs sick! great location. right on the t and there is easy on-street parking. off-street parking available as well. 3 good sized bedrooms, living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, pantry, back porch. we have a second full sized bathroom in the basement as well as free laundry. the basement bathroom is actually really nice. you'd be surprised. also there is a ping pong table and a pool table in the basement. heat and hot water are not included but itâs an updated system and doesnât cost us too much. the most expensive month we had this winter was about $220. split three ways its about $70 per person as well as about $30 for cable/phone/internet and another $15-$20 for the electric. if itâs a bad winter it could be a bit more but thatâs still pretty good. the other eight months of the year its $50-$100 per month in total for the whole apartment. we do also have a working fireplace which we do tend to light up quite often. just to be clear "this is not a party house!" we do like to have friends over and have a good time but we tend to both work a lot so we donât party at home too often. if you want to have friends over thatâs perfectly fine but letâs respect each otherâs hours. about us: two guys who are pretty laid back. all we really care about is that you clean up after yourself and keep the place clean. we do have a cleaning lady come once a week. she cleans the kitchen, bathroom and all the common areas. this costs us less than $7per person per week. screw that iâm not cleaning someone elseâs shit and i donât expect them to clean mine. this is easier. all we want is for you to clean up after yourself and the cleaning lady will make sure the rest is spotless. iâm in real-estate. iâve been doing it for years. my partners and i started up a real estate company this year so iâm pretty busy most of the week. i work a lot but when iâm home i just take it easy. my roommate is a very nice guy. works a lot as well. he works at a car rental company (management track) but is thinking of going back to school to get his masters. same deal as me. keep the place clean. hang out if you want. if you donât want to then donât. be nice. clean up after yourself.... am i repeating myself? we would prefer a girl because they tend to be cleaner but we get why a girl wouldnât live with us... because weâre two guys... so we're open to anyone. this room is perfect for a girl though! one huge closet (and i mean huge) and a second very large one as well. perfect for your shoes! think about it... shoot me an email and tell me a little about yourself. iâm not looking for a life story. what you do and what you like. you can come check out the place and if you like it we can grab a beer one night to see how the three of us hit it off. we would like to get to know who we are going to be living with and iâm assuming you would want the same. just makes sense.
