Do not get an apartment facing the street. There is a bar next door, Ryan's Daughter and their patrons are outside all day and all night smoking, talking, screaming until 4AM when the bar closes. You can hear the people walking above you all day and especially all night.

My apartment faces the street. Ryan's bar abuts this building. The patrons hang out from 10AM to 4AM screaming and smoking outside the bar and often in front of this building. I am often woken out of a deep sleep several times a night. Do NOT get an apartment in 344 east 85 street that faces the street.

There is bar next door, Ryan's Daughter. There are usually 2-12 people out front of the bar smoking, talking loud, screaming. The smoke will waft into your apartment and the noise will wake you all night.

There is a bar, Ryan's Daughter, next door to this building. There is noise all day and especially all night when people come out in groups to smoke. They are drunk and scream and yell, at best it's loud talking. The cigarette smoke that wafts into your apartment is intolerable.
