I know this long but you need to get through it.
I've lived in this building for a few months. Me my boyfriend and our service dog, mind you I have anxiety. And my upstairs neighbors are stompers. We have nicely talked to them several times with nothing but disrespect in return, attempted to bring management into it to no avail, and have had no other option but to call the police. One of the three people in the one bedroom above me is new, just there. Not on the lease and this one is the one who is home all day everyday causing us problems. They have been harassing us with no regrets since day one and the add on is worse. Management has ignored me. I've written letters with all my contact information and have never hear anything back. Left voicemails (I work all day weekdays so when I'm home their office is conveniently closed for the day, and on weekends) so letters were my only hope.. This constant harassment from them has made my anxiety peek. I've had to call the police 3 times myself and they have visited me once for them calling. Situation; I'm home alone. 2 people come down yell at me and put there middle finger in my face then shoved my door as if they were trying to come in. I let them know I was armed and not to be messed with and they called the cops claiming I was shoving a knife in their faces. The cops came and heard me out and even told me the woman on the lease has given them many problems in the past. The police remember the bitch!
My doorman has told me that the couple that live there have been such a problem in the past they have been ordered not to live in the same household but somehow they are up there with A noisy rude extra. So what am I to do when management doesn't help and the police can only do so much?? Sit here in my apartment terrified for my safety? I'm afraid to leave because I fear they will follow me and hurt me.. If anyone reads this that can help me please do.. I'm at a loss. Management if you are reading this please please respond. Let's solve this problem together. That's all he been asking for since August 2016, and its January 2017 now...
I do love my apartment and its location. But spending everyday scared isn't fun.
