I moved out 03/31/2017 because I got bitten by a rat in this apartment while I was asleep I even showed the landlord pictures and he denied it. So to make a long story short he never filled the rat holes while I was living there so that means the rats can come and go as they please he gave me glue boards to put down what he should have done is call in the exterminator I had to throw all of my furniture out and clothes but he didn't care and to top it off he went into my apartment without letting me know to show the unit to other renters while my belongings were still in the apartment and left all my lights on so I went to the alderman s office and told them and they reported this to the city inspectors I even called the police on the landlord cause that's illegal to do and I also notice things in my apartment were missing but he said he's not responsible it's just not fair the way I was treated I was a good tenant I didn't deserve none of this I always paid my rent on time for 2 years and he never gave me receipts but lucky I had duplicate checks so before you rent this apartment have an inspector check it out so the same thing dosent happen to you like me.
